Oct 9th 2018!⃝Sounds to me that its about the death of a relationship where the woman wants something the man doesnt want, they've drifted apart, her behaviour hurts him, conflicts with his core values and beliefs and he is faced with the pain of staying vs the pain of departing, and in the end he realises that though he loves her,the pain of staying with her while she does whatever it is that hurts him, is greater than the pain of seperation. The long-term pain of staying vs the shorter term pain of seperating. And he doesnt want to seperate but sees he has no choice. Sounds to me with the mention of kiss to stop the lies and wearing his love like a see through dress, and the moments tenderness hes clinging to,and cut adrift,that she is cheating,routinely,and her words dont match her actions, she's lying to him,routinely, and he cannot allow himself to be tortured by her continued unfaithfulness and the pain its causing him. In short, she sounds like a cheating narcissist and he's realised she won't change and he must let her go, despite that he loves her the same as he ever did, the cheating and lies are just too continually heart breaking and he is being destroyed. He's saving his remaining self esteem and dignity, while he still has some left, and hes separating from a serial cheater.
