May 2nd 2021!⃝I think the song is about someone struggling with addiction and, it isn't necessarily drugs it's just an addiction; something that's so hard to stop and it's killing you in a way. The song is meant to remind you that the 'I will leave the light on', that there's someone who wants to help, who will be there for and whether the person wants to speak up now or later, someone will wait. Always.
