Jun 19th 2012!⃝I think this song is about two friends or possibly even a couple, who are having trouble in their relationship. For the sake of clarity, I'm going to call them a couple, and in this scenario, I think they've most likely broken up. The girl is thinking back on how she gave up something so precious to her, but she didn't realize it at the time. But because she ended things by letting him down, she isn't allowed to be weak, even though she wants to be, and she needs him to help her through it. Gomenasai means "I'm sorry" in Japanese; she's apologizing for what she's putting him through, but she's stopping herself from asking him to take her back because she knows it's entirely her fault.
This can also be applied to the opposite side, as if the guy is the one apologizing, or even seen as just a crumbling friendship.
