Jan 2nd 2019!⃝The song is about being a witness to a murder, either to the act and/or to the disposing of the body, and not coming forward because you are afraid of repercussions from the killers and/or their friends/associates; also leaving the discovery of the body to someone else. The witness feels guilty about the choice to have done nothing to prevent the murder and/or to get justice for the victim and their loved ones, but still remains silent anyway.
Comments: Unfortunately, this failure to help is an all too common occurence, resulting in many unsolved murders, especially in high-crime areas. Do the right thing, and step up. ~a homicide survivor of a cold case
