Nov 10th 2008!⃝God, why is it that so many people on this site think that the deepest, most insightful song writers wrote songs about themselves. Yeah, maybe Kurt escaped his childhood by dreaming he was an alien.
The fact that the lyrics talk about cultures being opinions and the quote from the Youngbloods "come on, people now..." which had everything to do with corruption and war in the '60s tell me this has much more to do with a deep interpretation of the world we live in. If you choose to believe he wrote this song for his own self, that is your opinion and you're entitled to it, but your opinion is very contained, limited, and shallow in drastic contrast with the man who wrote the song.
