Oct 16th 2009!⃝Hey i do not really think this song is about seasonal love or even about loneliness, no offense to anyone of you of course who is entitled to your own opinion, this is just my point of view.
I think that this song is basically about a guy being unwilling to part with a girl, such that even though we knows that they cannot be together, he nonetheless wants them to be.
Thus all the seasons are merely excuses that he made up for them to stay together- which is his very purpose from the start, cause he still loves her.
Cause even for january where he says "We're frozen inside" it blatantly shows how he's merely finding whatever reason he can for them to be together, and not merely for the seasonal changes.
I think its a really sweet, and meaningful love song of him expressing his feelings to a relationship he is unable to let go of.
