Aug 16th 2013!⃝To ME the song is about people being scared to be themselves and share what they think. Coming down the mountain is living life. Too worried about what others will think if you think different and it burns so bad not to be who you are that you finally jump out and of your flesh cause you cant deal with not being yourself anymore and when you do you find someone like you(Could be interpreted as a love song as well)so then you finally realize you're not so weird and different from everyone and everyone is just as different as you just in different ways. Cashing in would be the act of being yourself. Cashing in means your finished with the way you were living and also the payout from cashing in is knowing and being yourself which is a priceless feeling. Plus you get the girl like you which could be good or bad lol
