Aug 13th 2015!⃝I absolutely love these lyrics. It's partly a warning not to let the darker aspects of life, especially unbridled lust, sadness & depression, and greed, get a grip on you. Also, not to let those that have already succumbed, who are past the point of no return, (fallen swingers, slick purveyors of material good, and especially greedy politicians) have an influence you.
...and to fight the darkness. Not to let sadness and depression lead you into the abyss where you might do something foolish to yourself.
