Apr 11th 2016!⃝I don't have a complete interpretation but there are multiple references to Dante's Divine Comedy.
"I heard that you missed your connecting flight"
Dante starts the divine comedy lost in a dark wood.
"In the quivering forest,
Where the shivering dog rests"
This is a reference to the layer of hell where the suicides dwell.
"And the river got frozen"
This could be a reference to the frozen water in the lower levels of hell.
However these are not strong connections just food for thought. Some one should put more research into it.
