Mar 12th 2011!⃝I think that maybe, someone told a friends deepest secret, and didn't realize at the time, and she just wants forgiveness, I can relate to this song.
"I heard the words come out
I felt that I would die
It hurt so much to hurt you"
She said the secret, she felt aweful and thought that she needed to be punished in some form, and that hurting this person hurts her 'cause she loved them.
But in the end she is forgiven, because they are good friends and the other knew that it was an accident.
I relate to that interpretation, that is why I interpret it that way.
