Sep 25th 2022!⃝My interpretation of this song is creating a version of someone who you like (platonically or romantically) and realizing that the person who you thought u knew was all in your head. Here are some lyric examples:
"Painted a picture
I thought I knew you well," basically stating she created an image of what she thought they were.
"I saw your potential
Without seein' credentials (-entials)" This is probably my favorite line, seeing what they could be, instead of what they are. And she says after, "maybe that's the issue," this whole is realizing she created a different person and when she actually took down the curtains she knew she made up an image of someone, nitpicking all the good things abt them and understanding it was never there in the first place and all 'In Her Mind'
